The Otanto - This is a small Japanese knife made from the same steel as the Katana and the Wakizashi. This knife was sometimes worn instead of the Wakizashi.

The Kama is a razor sharp sickle that has a half-moon shaped blade and wooden handle. The Kama is still used by farmers to cut rice and grass but is seldom taught as a weapon due to its dangerous nature. The Kama is a defensive weapon that was used against sword attacks. It also becomes deadly when used as an extension of the users hands. The sickle blade can slash deeply into the arm or leg.

There are lots of Japanese Weapons from the ancient times. The samurai used many types of swords and weapons their where also ninjas who used death stars and the Sai and also the Kama. In Japan there where weapons used by the military women called the Naginata. In the Jomon period they used rocks and swords even slings which where rocks where tied around rocks and where threw at the enemy to wrap around and stop them from attacking or running away. In the Yayoi period they used better weapons than the Jomon because they had many more years of experience then the Yayoi period. There where also weapons used to disarm their opponents called the jute, which they could also use to kill their enemy’s in battle. And farmers where the first to which use the Kama in battle because they where using them to farm until they used them to defend themselves when attacked so the ninjas decided they can master this weapon and use them in battle.
